Generic relay
On-board by OpenVibe
A robot with no hardware of its own: the owner's Node runs the relay plugin and forwards the panel's button and video-click commands to a local script. The shape OpenVibe.Live's camp controls convert to (plan T15 R9 step 5); the buttons live in the robot's local profile.
How it connects
On-board. The OpenVibe Node runs on the robot's own computer and drives its hardware.
- Any Raspberry Pi or Linux machine running the OpenVibe Node.
- Each button on the panel is passed to a script of yours by the relay driver: lights, a door, a motor board.
Its panel
Laid out from its profile (relay.generic):
- Buttons
- Your own buttons
Safety
Every command passes Bot's gate: roles, the owner's limits and cooldowns, and a latched e-stop only the owner clears. The device stops the motors by itself when commands stop arriving, without asking the network.
